In 2020, DoorDash was growing exponentially and new restaurants were joining the marketplace every week. Each restaurant wanted to raise awareness of their availability on the platform and we needed a quick solution to keep up with the demanding growth. So we created Magic Table — a mix and match TV template that showcased DoorDash’s varied selection, highlighted the newest restaurant available, and offered a sweet deal to celebrate their arrival. The work successfully scaled DoorDash’s ability to produce national TV commercials within extremely fast production windows and kept restaurant partners happy.
